Windows 8 and IE 10
On October 24, 2012, the Microsoft Corporation released the Windows 8 Operating System. This update features a new version of their Internet Explorer 10 Browser (IE 10). Microsoft has since been inundated with bug reports on problems with Compatibility Mode features. The result has been that many popular websites have encountered page rendering problems in IE 10.
Clients and all of our users are strongly advised not to perform upgrades to IE 10 at this time. Please note that the Microsoft Corporation is actively working to address these IE10 issues. We will inform our clients once Microsoft has resolved these items and it is safe to install/upgrade to IE 10.
Note that users of Windows 7 and XP are advised to adjust their Windows Auto Update settings in order to prevent any future automatic update of their browsers to IE 10.
Thank you for your cooperation.
